bit.B works with a combination of hard- and software: sensors collect data from machines or from the sub-distribution, for example the energy consumption in the production or the quantity at the assembly line. Collect data
The data is recorded with the sensors during operation in the bit.B Sensor node.

Tansfer data
The bit.B Sensor node transmits the data via radio to the bit.B Gateway. The bit.B Gateway transmits the data via the Internet to the bit.B Server.

Analyse data
The bit.B Server prepares the data and provides it for the bit.B Online Monitor as analyses.
1. Collecting data via sensors
The basic prerequisites for the work with bit.B are commercial sensors.
To gather data, these sensors have to be installed at the relevant machines, at the desired areas or at the sub-distribution.
The bit.B Team advises you, which data package is necessary.

2. Save data transfer via sensor node and gateway
The data migrate along the points until they are available on your end device:
  • One sensor can receive and bundle six digital and analog input signals.
  • The received data is forwarded via Lemonbeat radio protocol to the bit.B Gateway.
  • The evaluation by means of the bit.B Hardware: An analogous input signal of 10 mA is for example converted to a temperature or a current.
  • In the following the gateway transfers the information via internet connection to the bit.B server. Now you as a costumer are able to retrieve the data from everywhere and in real time by means of the bit.B Online Monitor.
